What areas do you cover?

We’re based in Birmingham and cover the entire West Midlands region, including Solihull, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas. For larger or commercial clearances, we can travel further — just ask when booking.

Are you licensed and insured?

Eco Clear Midlands Ltd is a fully licensed waste carrier (CBDU551052) and is insured for all domestic and commercial work. You can trust that your waste is handled legally and responsibly.

Can you collect 'same-day'?

Yes — if you contact us before midday, we can usually arrange a same-day or next-day collection depending on availability and location.

Do you work with businesses and landlords?

Absolutely. We provide regular and one-off clearance services for businesses, estate agents, landlords, and construction sites. We can create a custom plan to fit your schedule and waste requirements.

Booking & Pricing

How much do your services cost?

Prices start from as little as £59.99 for wheelie bin collections and £72 for standard clearances. Final quotes depend on the volume, type, and weight of waste — you’ll always receive a clear, no-obligation quote before we begin.

How is pricing calculated?

We price by load size and waste type. Heavier or specialist items (such as appliances or POPs sofas) may incur an additional processing charge. We’ll always confirm the price up front so there are no hidden fees.

How do I book a service?

Do you charge for quotes?

All quotes are completely free and carry no obligation within the West Midlands. We’ll often ask for photos of the items or area to give you the most accurate estimate.

Is there a cancellation fee?

We understand plans change. As long as you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your collection, there’s no fee. Late cancellations may incur a small call-out charge to cover costs.

Do POPs charges apply to sofas or upholstered items?

Some upholstered furniture contains Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and requires specialist disposal under UK law. Where this applies, a small POPs charge is added to cover safe processing and environmental compliance. Learn more about POPs charges here.

On the Day of Service

Do I need to be present during the clearance?

Not necessarily. If we can access the items safely and you’ve given clear instructions, we can complete your collection while you’re away. We’ll send photos after completion for peace of mind.

How long does the clearance take?

Most jobs are finished within 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the amount of waste and access. Larger projects may take longer, but our team works efficiently to minimise disruption.

What kind of items do you remove?

We remove almost anything non-hazardous — including furniture, appliances, garden waste, rubble, and general rubbish. We don’t handle asbestos, gas bottles, paint, medical or chemical waste.

Can you collect from flats or restricted access areas?

Yes — our team is experienced in multi-storey and tight-access collections. Just let us know about stairs, lifts, or narrow entry points when booking so we can bring the right equipment.

Do I need to prepare or bag anything before collection?

No preparation is required — we do all the lifting and loading for you. If you’d like to speed things up, placing items in one area can help, but it’s not essential.

What payment methods do you accept?

We make payments simple and secure. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send a payment link to your phone or email — you can pay instantly using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any major debit/credit card.

Recycling & Sustainability

What happens to the waste after collection?

We sort and separate materials for recycling, reuse, or energy recovery. Over 90% of the waste we collect is diverted from landfill.

Do you track your environmental impact?

Yes — we actively track our Tree Counter to record how many trees our customers have helped plant. We also measure our recycling rates and report progress as part of our eco commitment.

How do you ensure items are ethically disposed of?

We work exclusively with Environment Agency-approved facilities and local charity partners. Every job is documented with a Waste Transfer Note to prove legal and ethical disposal.
